We lost the Queen of Pop

Today we lost the Queen of Pop, such a great singer, performer, entertainer, woman. Whitney Houston passed away at the age 48. I couldn't believe it when I first heard it. Twitter kills off celebrities all the time. Eddie Murphy and Adele were dead just last week. I turned on CNN and sadly it was true. I've been reading a lot of biographies like Sam Cooke, Marvin Gaye and James Brown. I tried to imagine how my parents felt when Marvin Gaye died. He was and still is a legend and to lose him was really hard. I felt the same thing with Michael Jackson, the King of Pop and now we've lost the Queen of Pop. She was the greatest---no one could top Whitney and no one will ever top her. She was just a true woman with a voice that would just calm your heart and mind. I loved My Love is Your Love, Just One of Those Days, and I'm Every Woman. That's probably my favorite video too. She was glowing, pregnant, happy, full of love and life. Whitney, you will forever be missed.
