Wedding programs and invitations

To save money, I'm making the wedding programs. They aren't going to be big with a lot of pages. I am going to be creative with this with ribbons and vellum paper. <-----That is new in my vocabulary. I read the word vellum somewhere, researched it in regards to weddings and thought I could do this. We are going to single paged programs and I incorporate my new last name initial and our wedding colors. I'm thinking of having chocolate brown cardstock, topped with some ivory or white paper with a G in the middle of it. I'll place the vellum translucent paper over the white paper and list our wedding party information. It would look like this minus the bow and the letter and wording would be opposite. The focus this week is getting the actual program printed out and cutting out everything needed for this weekend. Sunday is going to be the DIY wedding task day. My MOH and I will be going to my FMIL's house and will be working on wedding stuff. I probably will blog about that day. I can't drink any wine during but I sure will after wards. Next Sunday, my FI and I will be looking for a home/apartment. I'll blog about that too. Happy wedding planning!
