The upcoming projects for February and March are formulating the seating chart, compiling all the music onto CDs and buying some undergarments. First off, the seating chart has been an ongoing battle since summer. My fiance and FMIL don't really think a seating chart is a good idea. In fact they think it's a bad idea and a waste of time. I listened to their views and thoughts and then had some of my own. I know the wedding day is going to be very busy and chaotic but in my mind, if the chaos could have a smidge of control, then I'd feel a little better. Now I'm not talking about assigned seating. That would be a little bit much for me to pick the actual seat for someone. I do think that assigned tables are necessary. All of my people are coming in from out of town, including friends in different cities. At least if I can get them at the same table, they might not feel so awkward. Plus I would hate for a table of loud rowdy teenagers end up next to a table of elders. How crucial would that be? My fellow brides, I know that you think about this because I do. On a daily in fact. I can't wait for the day when I can just have a non-wedding related thought process. But it's all good. I'll be looking for any and all programs that can help with creating a seating chart rather than getting out the paper plates, a large white cardboard and some black markers with some glitter. But needless to say, that will be something a great drinking wine-laughing fun for the girls and myself.

Ian and I were lucky enough to find someone who will be our Master of Ceremony, play music and can sing...and for free! He's a friend of Ian and said that he would do that as a wedding gift. I told him that I would put all the music we want on CDs and then whatever songs he wanted to sing was fine by us. Yes--sounds like an added project for us but he is doing it as a gift when he usually gets paid. So it's all good for me to do that. We decided that the wedding party will enter to
Halo by Beyonce (instrumental) and I'll walk down to
If I ain't got you by Alicia Keys (the jazz instrumental version).

My first dress alterations appointment is February 20, day after my Bridal shower and I have to find some Spanx to wear under it. Now David's Bridal does sell the undergarments but they're a little over priced. But then one weekend, I was with my MOH and we found some Spanx I think at Von Maur--a hundred dollars! Really? A hundred bucks---but from what I've read, it's worth it. So we'll see. Can I find something half that? Any takers? Anyone? Anyone?
