No wedding plans

I purposely didn't schedule any wedding meetings or plans this weekend so I could relax. Since I've gotten engaged, for the most part, we've had something planned for every weekend. If it wasn't shopping or scheduling or discussing or writing it or outlining this or that, it was every weekend. So last Saturday, I told my fiance no wedding stuff next week. I just wanted to relax and chill and sleep in. Now granted, I did spend money on the wedding. I found this amazing website called Efavormart and I am so happy I did. First off, a couple of months ago, I found these beautiful table runners on etsy.com. In fact I have them pictured to the right. When I inquired about them however, they were anywhere from $17 to $20 a piece. I needed 20 of them so I wasn't about to do that. Then I was reading some articles and found that tulle could do the same affect and was a lot cheaper. So I bought some Tiffany blue and chocolate brown tulle and worked with it and loved it. I was good with it and very happy. THEN I come across Efavormart and couldn't believe it. I found chocolate brown satin table runners for $2.79!!!! I couldn't believe it. They also had turquoise runners too. So I ordered 20 of them, plus the guest book in chocolate brown. I also got the cake serving set today but other than that, nothing with David's Bridal, Micheal's, Hobby Lobby, not much on the Knot, GetMarriedTV or even the WE channel. I did catch a glimpse of Bridezillas but they were old episodes so I didn't watch too much. Next week however will be back to the regular routine. We're looking at flowers and paying as well as meeting some vendors. The lesson here ladies is to not make your life all about the wedding. Enjoy time outside of the wedding talk, planning and stress. Spend time with your fiance, friends, family or just yourself. Exhale and breathe. Happy wedding planning!
